Who We Are

Kama Kula is a Colorado nonprofit building accessible, trauma-informed education at the intersection of pleasure, embodiment, and human sexuality.

Body wisdom
is a birthright.

The name comes from Sanskrit — kāma, the force of desire and vitality; kula, a lineage of practice bound by shared values. Together: a community devoted to the body's knowing.

We believe pleasure is medicine. That sensual intelligence is a learnable skill. That the nervous system holds knowledge the mind cannot reach alone.

  • Pleasure belongs alongside wellness — not as luxury, but as birthright.
  • Embodiment is not a technique. It is a return to what was always yours.
  • Consent is the foundation of every space we hold.
  • Community is the container. Connection is the medicine.
  • Body wisdom belongs to every person — regardless of background or body.
Your body is not a problem to solve.
It is a source of wisdom.
